Why I cant go to map location of unit I click through OOB?

Rage.
This is a MUST HAVE FEATURE in a game like this.
Simple example:
Say I click on OKH on map, , click on OKH on right box to check on the unit, hen click on Army Group North which I see is attached to OKH.
I am now looking at AGN.
I want to go to that unit's location on the map.
There is no way to do it - the active unit is still OKH.
This.... this.... I am at a loss for words as to why this feature is missing.
Please tell me there is a way to do this and that I am a dumbazz.
Otherwise I will remain in a rage about this game.

Your not the only one to find this annoying but there is a way, but it's convoluted and unintuitive.
With the HQ open click on 'SHOW SUBORDINATES (CR)'. This open the commanders report and from there you can navigate to any unit location by clicking on the hex location.

Yup, thanks, but I already know about the (clunky) commander's report. I basically use it to sort by MP and see what units I have forgotten to move. Hey, when you get my age, you might forget to move that 343rd unit on the map...
What I want, need, must happen or else (I'll be miffed) is click on a unit on a map, go to it's attached units, click on THAT attached unit and presto! I am at that unit on the map.
Commander is... time consuming and not the best way...

Tim, maybe there's anger management issues here (joke.)
And Chris H did show you how to do it, but is a gentleman and did not characterize you as you yourself suggested.
My vast programming & manual writing teams are at work now correcting these crucial issues. You may hold your collective breath until published.
Seriously, play experience vs. AI and some careful H2H does wonders. Then, this forum begins to make sense for advanced technique.

click on on map unit (assuming you want hq here), rt click on counter (upper right). Then on the unit info click on attached units (or attached support) one or the other of these two will have appeared about half way down on the left. These two "toggle" back and forth.
