Can any suggest the best bomb load for targeting U-boats?

As well, do you suggest that Bombing Command joins in the bombing of U-boats?

Biggest bombs you can load for your b17 b24, depending on range you can get 6 or 8 in each plane.

I use bomber command at night bombing manpower so no idea how that would work.

I know that the AUTO load for the bombers in the MTO Strategic Command does very well on Naval Patrols there. I can usually get Naval Interdictions in the 6 to 8 range in an area of 9 Naval Patrol.

In processing some turns, Bomber command does not do much damage to U-Boat Factories as the 8th Air force.
Oh, well Bomber Command will switch back to going after Manpower.

Lancaster SPECIALS! in the strike package. Load the 12k bomb for targets close enough for them to reach. Dump your incendiary loads for bomber command, you want as much AP as you can get. I believe they were made as Dam Busters, but they work. Bomber Command just has poor accuracy since they have to fly at night.

I think I will try that. In 1943, great stuff that we get the Tallboy bombs. Hope that they are available in unlimited quantities.
