The Germans haven't captured Leningrad, so the Finns are bottled up, but some combat support units are still wandering far from home. I saw at least three battles in the computer's most recent turn where they are participating. Here's one of them:

This is actually totally historically! A lot of Finns served at the German army.

The article mentions one Finnish battalion, while the battles i'm seeing have sometimes four or five of them ( engineers ).

Is this vs the AI? Did it happen earlier?

This is me vs AI playing Axis. I have not been paying a large amount of attention to the units in battles so no idea if it was happening earlier in this campaign or not.
