How to fail an invasion

Very easy :

- single-hex invasion
- no paradrop to support
- no naval interdiction
- not enough support units assigned
- failing to expand in the first turn

Result :

I'm stuck in a 1-hex beach, no place for reinforcement, poor supply, no easy place to attack.

My luck is facing poor italian units. If there was only one good german division, I would be thrown back to the sea.

Let's see if more planes can get me out of this trap !

Note this is vs challenging AI 1.00.08 with new italian surrender rules. Times from 1.00.00 where the first kick in the door expelled the Italians from the war are over. You may have a real fight on your hands in Sardinia and Corsica and must prepare yourslef accordingly. Not like this [:D]

In my latest game vs the AI, my Corsican invasion was a single division and it got kicked out on the invasion turn by two German PG divisions!

Yes I use KWG's color mod.

I sorted it out in the next few turns. More planes, more supply, took Ajaccio, brought reinforcements. Then the italian surrender happened after the landing in Salerno. Germany only had a fortress brigade in Corsica.

I hope you understand that I mean this in the nicest way. You allowed the 3 P's rule to affect you. Piss, poor, planning=piss, poor, performance![:D]
