Little Known now better known

I'm still here in one capacity or another for the duration. I'll be announcing the arrival of a bevy of new scenarios spread over numerous sites in the next few days.

They cover a little known theater of war, the CBI. Considering the scope and the importance of what took place there, I feel attention on the area has been far too minimal.

Who hasn't heard of the Chindits, Marauders, Stillwell, Chennault and his Tigers, and the famous fall of Singapore?

It was a unique situation and begs for attention from wargamers.

They will include:

"Some Tough Mates,"

Malaya, early 1942. Australian troops bloody the nose of advancing Japanese, evoking the comment from one of their leaders that the Aussies had fought, "fought with a bravery we had not previously seen."

Look for it on the Raider HQ Page anyday now.

"The Hook"

Burma, 1942, the British pick up on some Japanese tactics and counter them with some of their own. Soon to appear on Redleg's Dirty Dozen page.

'Surprise Rescue"

Burma, April 1942, Politics and War did not mix well together in the CBI, as evidenced by relations between British and Chinese forces. Still, there were better moments such as the Chinese rescue of British forces about to be overwhelmed by advancing Japanese.

The Raider Arsenal team will be posting this one soon...

"Sniffin' 'Em Out"

Okinawa, 1945, And finally, a new type of scenario employing scout dogs. These were used by US Marines and later Army troops in flushing tough, hidden Japanese forces. Two versions of this one will be soon appearing on Tankhead's famous site.

So get ready for some hard jungle fighting. Look for these brand new never before relased scenario during the next few weeks.

You've been so productive of late, M-4, I had to look hard to find a theater that you have not covered ;)

Thanks!
