I purchased Command last week, when I noticed it on Steam. I had been following its development on and off for a couple of years. I registered on Matrix, hoping to access the downloads, updates, etc. I was told that the system is not able to register the game since Steam does not provide a serial number. Thus far I have downloaded the community pack, but have not installed it yet. I am wondering how to get the latest V 1.07 update since I am seeing a lot of issues with the Steam version 1.06. I am using a pretty hefty Alienware machine I-7, 2.5 Gb video, 12 Gb Ram, etc. I am getting lockups somewhat frequently with thus far some of the simpler scenareos since I am still feeling my way thru the game. (I started with the very 1st Harpoon) I know there are some A.I. bugs as well. This is highly unusual, since my laptop has not even hiccuped with many other more system demanding games. Usually Steam auto updates all games, and provides additional download links. Am I an orphan due to purchasing on Steam? When will they have the latest updates? I was under the impression that as with other purchases thru Steam over many years I was getting the same merchandise that would be purchased through any other source.

1.07 isn't out yet, it's just been mentioned as what some of the features upcoming are. When updates do come out they hit steam about same time they are available on Matrix.
Sometimes there are more current test builds released here in the interim between releases.

Not sure whats causing your lockup issues, might try it without sound, or turn some things off screen to see if you can isolate it a bit. (runs a lot smoother on my system if I turn off sonobouy visibility, for instance.)

If the forums let you post a save yet, you might post an autosave right before a lockup for the devs to look at.
