CONTACT!!!! I rushed the center V-hexs and it worked..I now control most V-points.. (yes)

I ran into a couple of Panther/PF teams...is that all ya got birdman?

We traded a few shots..then I tucked myself in behind a warm smoke screen...I now hold the good ground and O'man has to dig me out!

going to see Lord of the Rings now...over 3 hours long! wow

I figured what the Hell and rushed in where even Angels would fear to tread...
An M-10 holding the bridge get's split open by an AP round from point blank range. The crew runs to and fro...before it is machine gunned down in the road.
Then a Panther moves to the flank...low and behold the entire town is filled with TD's...not the M4's I was expecting...but no matter.
To end the turn...a flamepanzer finds an M-10 facing the "wrong" way and it is turned into:.....yes, you got it A FLAMBE'!

not even killing off three Wolverines brought me any cheer.

Two breakdowns of my remaining force has left me with...pardon my French...my @ss hanging in the wind.

Well...let's see what I can salvage from this mess.

the battle was being fought in broad day light...then I could use my superior guns and armor to their full advantage!

Unfortunately the battle range is under eight hexes...and having to close in to that sort of range just plays into the hands of the allied ability to field more weapons...so I'm getting here what I'm giving Goblin in our battle. (no good deed goes unpunished...lol)

Anyway...I got a couple more of Jess's TD's...(no jumbo's or 76'ers Jess??? Why not??? ) but there are more coming out of the woodwork. I now know how the Germans must have felt...what a despairing feel that is! ugh.

But...I will fight on...at least one more turn, depending on what happens in Jess's turn.

Even with my kill ratio now closing in on three to one...it doesn't matter. Question now is do I call in re-inforcements or just let this agony come to an end?
