Hey all, if you've got a few minutes you might want to check out the first in what I hope will be series of me playing Commander the Great War as the Central Powers - Commander Great War Pt. 1

Nothing for nothing, why did you not use a later game version like 1.60 beta? For going to do an AAR on a version (?) that very soon (hours, days, weeks away) will be outdated and look nothing like what the official 1.60 version will be.. Sorry, but it seems like a waste of time....

I don't usually bother with beta's I wait for the official versions. As to the update from what I've seen I can't update without being unable to play my current game being unplayable so I won't. Finally, since they are continuing to update the game even if I had waited my game would be out of date sooner or later, so I fail to see the difference. I love the game and want to share my enjoyment with others. It's pretty simple really.

I'll be honest! I go over on occasion to check out your AAR videos, but each time I wished you did a current version. You seem very content with what you have been doing, as the saying goes: "To each their own". If you were doing a lesson in teaching, teachers really should be up to date, so that those you are teaching will be up to date with the reality of the game. As it is, you are falling further and further behind, that's my opinion without trying to be rude.

You are right, to each his own. Besides that I just don't want to waste all that time I've put into the game at this point, nor do I want to disappoint any viewer who's invested in seeing how this turns out. If I find out I can do the upgrade and still play out the game I've started I'll do it in a heart beat.
