An Unlikely Ally 2015 New Beta For Testing

Egypt has drawn grave concerns from Israel over the purchase of a Russian S-400 missile system. The Islamic country has begun to reverse engineer the system in a facility east of Cairo and the US appears to be bowing out, forcing Israel to plan strikes against the missile system and the engineering facility.
Will tensions between Egypt and Israel ever cool? And will the US continue to back their decades old friend?
No on either account in this scenario. So who will watch the back of Israel?
Syria?
Turkey?
Greece?
Whomever it shall be, it will be An Unlikely Ally.
Thanks to all who play and suggestions for improvement are always welcome, including any addition of Lua scripts (which I am inherently bashful of!)

Minor victory. My attack was very sloppy and I both lost several planes and shot down two civilian ones by accident.
However, I still hit the targets and got a "minor victory" (maybe adjust the scoring, especially for collateral damage). One other oddity was enemy aircraft strafing my single-unit airfields

I picked this scenario since the Israelis during the Arab/Israel conflict (I don't specifically recall which one) actually attacked from the Med and almost northwest of Cairo making for what I though a pretty good ploy. I wanted to see if anyone followed that route.
I thought about making the point loss for civilian a/c much higher and possibly loosing the scenario but as I see stories like the the Russians shooting down the Malaysian flight over the Ukraine without much of a public flogging, I'd just keep it at a moderate penalty. From what I can see, conflicts don't stop when civilian aircraft are shot down. Airliner Shootdowns
Thanks for your comments.

Your thinking about the Israeli pre-emptive strike from 1967.
They timed it to hit when the senior Egyptian cvommanders were en-route to their HQ and stuck in the Cairo morning traffic. In the 60's a Blackberry was just a fruit.

Sent my strikers at NOE an south, coming up through the high ground SE of Cairo. Was relatively unmolested in taking out the targets.
