You know I'm new here and I'm having a problem getting V7.1.
But I thought I would pop in and say Hi anyway. A great Prussian General once said

When I remember the author of that quote I used I will insert it in all my messages. I have V4.5 and love to play it all the time.
Maybe Santa can sprinkle farie dust on my puter to make it download V7.1:rolleyes:

This is a great game as you know, but with the addition of the Forum and all the friends it brings, you will gain a new appreciation for SPWAW.

Don't worry i was having trouble downloading it too. Keep going to the website and trying. I think i eventually downloaded the game from the UK thread. It seemed that the US one wasn't helping me
Try downloading it off peak hours in the morning or late at night

I was on a 56k modem (usually 42-48k connections), and downloaded the game over some weeks or months. I used GetRight, and selected each of the download links on GamesDomain. Give it about a minute between clicking each link. That'll let GetRight check each server. Then it'll rotate between them until it finally d/l's the game. Just be a Marine and Semper Fi once you start d/l'ing!

I downloaded too with my 56k modem connection. Only things you need is patient, GetRight and good luck:D .
But it really was worth of it:) .
I can't live without SPWaW anymore...my gf still don't agree with me;)

Welcome aboard! MatrixGames aces out all the other game comanies, IMHO, and Matrix Forums have the most knowledgeable and helpfull people on the planet!:D
I hope you enjoy Matrix' games and the forums. Be sure to get CL when it comes out. I have a feeling it's going to be the best thing to happen to strategy/wargames since the invention of the PC.
