Hi -can anyone help regarding the annoying java out of member error that keeps happening on this game - i go to load a mission and everytime it hangs either at that screen - or it hangs before i even get that far and in the java window it gives the dreaded lang out of memory palaver - aaarrghh - i cannot understand how on my computer with 8gb ram that i have this message come up - is there something i can do to get around this, or give java more memory that will work - i tried giving as much as 4gb in teh control panel java setting but still the game hangs

i notice in teh quickstart option the properties have this in the target: "D:\Matrix Games\Commander - Napoleon At War\jre\bin\java.exe" -Xss30m -Xms300m -Xmx600m -classpath . CNAW - is this set up doing something to the java?

have you tried running the game in compatibility mode, if your on a new o/s? or running as admin?

upgrading to the latest Java version?

thanks - i updated java now, i am not sure if that was the fix but i am having the issue less now - i may need to restart the game a few times but i can keep back into it now and continue my saves
