Hex control bug

Germany won a blitz attack against the hex east of Rouen. In the advance after combat phase, one armor unit exploited into Rouen. When I realized that caused the armor unit to disorganize, I undid the move and only advanced into the hex that was originally attacked. The turn ended before Germany had another chance to move, so Rouen should have remained French. When I went to place French reinforcements, I discovered that Rouen was in fact now German controlled.
TL;DR - when a unit exploits a breakthrough following a blitz attack and subsequently that exploitation move is undone, the hex control switches as though the move was not undone.

Why would the armor disorganize in this case?

Exploiting armor disorganizes if the movement cost of the 2nd hex is 2 or more movement points. Although now that you point it out, I'm not sure why Rouen cost 2 mp's to reach. Which would be a different bug from the one I reported above, if it's a bug at all.

Was the weather rain or storm and the unit advanced into the combat hex along a railway and the railway movement bonus option is on? That is the only reason other than I bug that I can think of that makes the first hex cost 1 MP and the second two MP.

I don't remember. This game is being played with railway movement and there were a few turns of rain, some of which saw heavy fighting so that's likely the answer.
And that's a distraction. Without more information, the question as to whether or not the disorganized armor unit is a bug will have to be left for another day. What clearly is a bug, however, is hex control flipping to the Germans and then not reverting to the French after the exploitation move was undone.

I have had this happen before when I have undone a move but it wasn't during advance after combat. It was during the regular movement phase. I am almost certain that during that move I took Rouen as well. When I hit the undo button the Germans retained control of the city and possibly the rest of the hexes too? I can't remember well as it occurred a couple of months ago.
That is really weird. Is it possible for something like this to affect only a certain part of the map?
At the time I just played through the error because it didn't affect my game at all.

For version 1.3.3.2 I made some changes to the code for changing hex control when Undo move is made. Those changes were specifically for Communist Chinese units but I just tested the advance after combat by armor similar to what you described and it all seems to work correctly now.
The beta testers have had version 1.3.3.2 and 1.3.3.3 for a while now and haven't reported any problems with those changes.

So, I am going to assume that this bug has been fixed. Once you get version 1.3.3.x (x > 0), please see if the problem reoccurs in your games.
