This will be my fourth PBEM attempt as the Japanese. Unfortunately, none of the previous three games went past 1942, so I can say that I am somewhat experienced though not versed in 1943-45.
Game 1 - ended in Sept 1942 when the allied CVs got sunk.
Game 2 - ended in February 1942 when allied CVs got sunk.
Game 3 - ended in February 1942 when Pearl Harbor surrendered.
I can provide references from my previous opponents if need be.
I am looking for a player that will not call it quits after losing a few carriers. I will play to the best of my ability and will soldier on even if I lose part of the KB.
I can do 1 turn a day, some days 2 or 3, depends on whether you're in the same timezone as me(Europe) or not.
Settings/HRs
I'd love a minimal HR game, but I'm willing to discuss. I have no preferences on scenario or mod and am open to suggestions.
-PPs to cross borders
-Stacking Limits

Unfortunately my opponent has disappeared after a month. No reply to e-mails or pm in the last month so I'm in need of an allied opponent again...
I would rather not work from scratch on a turn one so if there are any takers, I have the turn ready for DBB-c with stacking limits, scen 30.

How many day turns are you doing? I would have some interest taking over a position, but since we are on opposite sides of the planet I can't see this game progressing that quickly with one day turns once a day.

From previous experience with players in USA, 1 turn/day is the norm and we managed 2 turns/day with big efforts due to the large difference in time zones.
And since one of my previous opponents was from Phoenix, AZ, I know the math already:
Arizona MDT is 9 hours behind my timezone, that means the hours when I can churn turns (10-20 my time) would be sleep hours in AZ.

I think he meant the turn cycle, not how many you can get done each day. He meant '1 day turns', '2 day turns', etc.

Oh. My bad then.

I don't like 2day turns since it leaves a lot of room for things to go wrong in the second day. My personal opinion, of course.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I use to hate the thought of two day turns...but after playing a couple games using them I am completely sold on them.

Playing one game now as Allied (Reluctant Admiral). We just started and are still in December 1941. Would like a second game as allied. Are you still looking?
