Just a minor issue here... the veteran units for the German side in West Front do not, in fact, add veteran status if choosing the veteran foot infantry battalion, it will fill out with normal platoons.

The SS, Panzergrenadiers, etc all do it correctly, and at the platoon level they all seem to work, but if adding a 'veteran' infantry battalion, you must still go in and take out all 12 infantry platoons and add the veteran platoons.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll fix this with the next UPDATE.

frankly after using Veteran units a a generated battle for the first time I am hard pressed to see the difference re: 'standard' units and the 'V's..

I think they have better morale.

Veteran units have higher vp value, higher attack for hard and soft targets, lower AP costs for most functions.
