Not a fan...looks like the Transformers logo...and gives no association with war games. Too strong contrast in the colors and doesn´t look professionally made.
Old one was much better.

I have to join the lynch mob [;)] I hate it too... doesn't convey the concept of simulation gaming, history, or anything other than spiders and transformers. [:'(]

I would not scrap it. But perhaps cut it down to about 60% of it's size and add the words Matrix Games below it so that their is some brand association with the logo.
