Playing Call of Duty again.Plays perfect on w8 laptop.

[:)]I just brought the first Call of Duty,game of the year edition with United Offensive pack included,and to my surprise,it plays like a gem!Frame rates perfect,visual effects,sound,the lot.I had my fingers crossed before I attempted to even install it.I have a HP windows 8 Laptop,and,I might add,I use that Classic Shell program to make the interface "normal",i.e,windows 7 and earlier,not the awful windows 8 standard mode.I also downloaded the digital version of Hidden and Dangerous,Reloaded,and it too plays perfect.Cheers,Peter.

[:)]Yeah-the only reason I brought a windows 8 laptop was because I had a computer magazine disk with the "Classic Shell" program,which converts the interface back to "normal" windows,otherwise I would have brought a windows 7 laptop.You can download the classic shell online.It's such a neat and simple program.And,the few games I've tried on w8 work great.Peter.
