Dear players,

Some news from Ageod and the AGE engine.

Patch 1.05 for Civil War II is due in a few weeks at most. We are already at Release Candidate 8 and you can download and install this " 1.05 RC8 " public beta patch by going at the Help Improve CW2 subforum, here:

http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.p ... -update%29

There will be soon a RC9 along the way.

As you may know, the most recent Ageod game is not CW2 but 'End all Wars', about World War One. This game just saw a scenarios expansion pack released. If you are interested in this conflict, by all mean pay us a visit at our website or internal forum, where there is a lot of activity going on.

There is also no less than 23 screenshots on the new scenarios pack here:

The full EAW experience now has 2 campaigns starting in 1914 (an hypothetical one and an historical one), the huge 1916 campaign, 7 scenarios ranging from short to very long in length and a tutorial.

Last but not least, we have opened recently a new forum on our new game, still in development. This is about Emperor Napoleon, and you are all welcome discussing with us what you would like to see (or not see!) in the game:

Best Regards,
the Ageod Team.

Thanks for the update, Pocus! I had heard about the new effort and think it will be an excellent title! The new TEAW map will offer plenty of room for operations compared to the older NCP.

Ah but the TEAW map is not re-used for the new Napoleon game, this is a custom made map with even more details and regions, so that Napoleonic warfare is better represented than in the first opus. There is now more than double the number of regions between the French border (Strasbourg / Strassburg) and Vienna for example. Room for maneuver is the key word here! :)

This Napoleonic game is the one I have been waiting for. Next to the East Front in WWII this is my other favourite subject. I had hoped Matrix EIA was going to be a great adaptation of the classic boardgame, but sadly it is/was the most bug riddled game I ever encountered.

Bring on the new Nappy game ASAP :)

Hold on your ... angry looking, armor plated, warhorse! [:D]

Nappy game should be out this year, unless a major 'FUBAR' thing... This is still too early to say when precisely.
