Rebase fighter from transporter

Question: I have a land based fighter (Spitfire) in transporter at sea. During rebase phase I'm allowed to fly fighter from transporter to port. Is that allowed or bug?

It is allowed. It can go to any coastal hex that it can stack in, doesn't have to be a port.

I think that the relevant part of the rules in this case is found in RAC, page 83.
