Set in and around mount Sinjar in Northern Iraq. Help me beta test this little first scenario. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. I am trying to get the equipment right with at leas things that would be around in theater if ISIL had all of the technical skills of a nation state actor.
ISIL has more military capabilities in this scenario then they do in real life. Best of luck I hope you all enjoy it. it shouldn't take very long, this is more of a proof of concept.
Update:
Changed some aircraft load outs, To more Air Attack
Added some munitions.
made the opfor fighters slightly more aggressive.
added facility destruction/damage triggers, actions.
update 1.6.16
triggers fixed for airdrops.

Nice scenario. Very interesting comparing it with "Shamal" to see how the technology's changed in a similar situation considerably later on.
Some small criticisms/comments.
-You have very few A/A assets. This would make considerably more sense in a situation where the air threat was indeed nonexistent, but for one where the enemy indeed has an air force, the planners would boost their own in response.
-Some instructions for how to carry out the paradrops would be helpful. I've played enough Command to get it's "get the transports close to the camp", but a newer player might not. Maybe switch the points event to locked reference points on the NATO side and say in the briefing (Note: To conduct this event keep the transports inside the marked area.)
Otherwise very good.

Thanks, I think I might have been a little over zealous in my force reductions, but than almost all of the strike aircraft have 2x AMRAAMS and three dedicated Air Superiority strike eagles. I should likely look at the nato forces again... I feel like you are right some of the bomb carriers should be repurposed.

Played the updated scenario again. Very good and fun scenario, and I believe it's quite ready for the community scenario pack.

Very nice scenario.
Only a minor comment for VP's. In the briefing SEAD and destroying the airstrip were mentioned as objectives. However I think the only thing that attracted VPs was the destruction of the convoy (which BTW was a nail biter because I used too much ordinance on other targets and nailed the final convoy targets with guns after they had set up and I had less than an hour to go). So some VPs for runways or something else would be good.
Besides that this is very nice and ready for print.

Thank you for the for the catch Gunner98, I added an event that triggers on the damage or destruction of an ISIL facility.

Aaron,
The Cargo and Para Drops aren't firing. The trigger area is using Reference Points that don't exist instead of using the Drop Zone reference points.
Just for grins, I changed just the first Air Mobility Cargo drop parameters to the appropriate area and changed the end time to Sunday, November 16th, 2014 at 1 pm. EVERYTHING fires with just those changes. I have no idea why the others did not need changing as well.
Anyway, here is a pic showing the problem with the areas (sorry about the size).
PS: Ignore the circles around the times. I misread the ending time.
