This is in the tutorial - shortly after Buzz finishes when I have launched the second mission ( first with the explorer 1 and later after starting tutorial a 2nd time from the beginning with the space plane ). Both times the screen freezes on step 2 with the 2 blinking of the mission and will not continue. The main view screen section goes black. I am using the Steam version.

Specs Windows XP Professional 32 bit 4 ghz memory 6 core AMD cpu Nvidia 550 TI Graphics card BASPM version 1.40

I have it on highest game resolution and best graphics - tried it one level down still froze same place.
I updated the Nvidia driver - all other drivers reported as up to date - no change

Many thanks for the file. The problem with this savefile occurs because an X-15 mission has been scheduled but it hasn't been assembled. The game would normally check at the end of a turn if there are scheduled missions that haven't been assembled and won't allow you to proceed unless you either scrub them or assemble them.

Thanks to this savefile, I found a bug in the code: the check for assembled missions wasn't taking place when running in tutorial mode. It's fixed now, you'll see this in the next patch.

If you want to continue with your savefile, please visit the Vehicle Assembly Building and assemble the mission before ending the turn.
