New patch

Any one else having an issue with the new patch with Microsoft 8. works fine in 7 but slow and darn near unplayable in 8. if so does anyone have a fix

I have a 4 cpu, wide screen and use 8.1, After I installed the new patch, it runs like a bat out of hell.
this is what i use:
-wd -deepcolor -cpu2 -px1360 -py768 -multiaudio -dd_sw -skipvideo -archieve -altfont
This may help.
