Hey,

here is 2nd hotfix to patch 1.6.2. If you have problems after patching, please try it and let us know if it helped. Sorry for all the trouble.

Sorry if these are idiot questions, but .......

1. Where should I download the hotfix to?
2. Should I save it or run it?
3. And somewhere in the confusion of the 1.6.2 deployment I missed hotfix 1. Does hotfix 2 include both and if it doesn't where do I find hotfix 1?

Hot fix 2 includes both hot fixes.[;)]

I will now try to guide you,on how to install the hot fixes,using a series off screen shots.

Left click to open.

Left click once on to save as.

Save file to desktop.

Left click twice on the saved file on your desktop.

Right click once on the Data file, and when this menu appears, left click once on Copy.[;)]

Right click anywhere on your desktop and left click on the paste option. You now have the hot fix saved on your desktop ready to install into the CTGW game.[:)]

By default CTGW is saved too this directory on your computer.

After you have located where the Commander The Great War is installed on your computer,you are now ready to install the hot fix into the game.The easiest way to do this is,Left click and hold without releasing your finger from the left mouse button, on the hot fix data file you saved to your desktop,drag your mouse over the Commander The Great War game directory,when you are over this directory,release your finger from the left mouse button,and follow the on screen instructions, selecting yes to overwrite any files.Once you have done this your game will now be updated with the hot fix.

Seems to be working fine. Will give the 1.6.2 a good workout in the next week or so ... in the process of moving from Florida to North Carolina for the summer. Also playing CEAWG for a little break. CTGW AI may need some work, but CEAWG's AI can be very lame [8|].

The hotfix fixes Entrenchment not increasing after Barbed wire research etc, the 1918 scenario gives Germany 2 missing units, Armour & Zeppelin both of which should have been available on the map when the 1918 scenario starts, the hotfix also fixes, some earlier reported game crashes.[;)]

What is exactly in this patch? Like to know before downloading it. Currently have 4 MP matches happening now in 1.62, some of my opponents have the hotfix, others do not. Is there a chance of CTD where one has the hotfix and the other does not?

I am playing on the ipad. I looked for an update in the apps and I didn't see one. Is the notify not available for the ipad? I don't think you can DL a patch independently, so I'm not sure what to do....
