I have a game where I built a Synth during the first turn, and when it arrived after 6 turns of play, it kept registering as a Saved Oil, not as a Synth. I have two saves, one when I discovered it, and one where I went back and tired placing it again, only to get the same issue. The first save, the SYnth is in Hex 52,40, south of Berlin. The second it is just west of Vienna.

Okay, after finding Cohen's old thread, I reloaded both of my saved games [the ones I posted] and the problem worked itself out. So, I'm still curious about what happened, but as it's fixing itself, I'm happy with the end result.
