really impressed me was the airbone
mechanized division... imagine that: an entire elite airborne fully mechanized (IFVs) division with arty and tank destroyers (

I've seen a old photo somewhere with a BMD managed to nose dive into the ground - I assume its rig snapped on the way down
Alex, quick question, there was a rumour that soviet army used live chemical weapons during its exercises - any truth in this?
