Can't Place Unit

Where is the Romanian MOT supposed to go?

You are playing with the optional rule "off city reïnforcements". That means you can put the MOT in any hex adjacent to Bucharest.

Thanks Centuur. I understand that but the game would not let me place the unit anywhere in Rumania.
After reloading this game now I have also noted that it flips back to the Chinese reinforcement step even though it was saved at the German one.
When it gets to the CW reinforcement it bypasses the air reserve where there was a pilot to be placed. It then gives me a partisan as a replacement.
It then moves to the US and USSR and then onto Germany.
Lo and behold I can place the Rumanian MOT but all of the Finnish units have disappeared and are showing as reinforcements except for the air units.
What a friggin' mess.
Try this attached file back to just before the reinforcement phase. It seems to be clean right up until placing the Rumanian MOT. Can't be done!

I get an error trying to load that game file. Something about a file named CA.BMP.
If the game's been modded, it's tough to say what's going on.

Only the Khaki in Flames MOD.
Would that cause a problem?

You'll never know. I would suggest to check this by taking the mod out...

Strange. Now I was able to load it but it's in a step where Germany has the only non-greyed-out flag, says it's the Liberation step, but there's no green end of phase button so it seems I can't progress the game.

I get the same result with that saved game. I'll investigate why the end-of-phase button is disabled.

As for placing the Motorized unit on the map - using the first saved game - that works fine for me, with the unit being able to arrive in any hex adjacent to Bucharest. Version 1.4.0.0 should have fixed that problem for David.
