Playing either side and multiplayer scenarios

I see that one scenario is described as human v human (a Manassas one) but I assume that more than this are available for multiplayer. Also how many of the AI scenario's allow for each side to be played?

All the scenarios are available for multiplayer. That one Manassas scenario you mentioned starts earlier with forces further back to allow for maximum flexibility for human vs. human games, so it's designed for that but every other scenario is designed for both AI and PBEM.

Thanks Erik. What about games against the AI - is it a fixed side for the human player in each scenario or can one choose to play either USA or CSA?

For all of the scenarios I tried, the player can choose either side. (including the one that is labeled Human vs Human).
Thanks
Rick

Completely up to you, the scenarios are not limited, both sides have AI.

I should add that one of our testers pointed out that calling the scenario "Human vs. Human" might lead to the very sorts of questions asked above, so I renamed the scenario to "2-player only," which should indicate (I hope!) that all other scenarios can be either 1-player or 2-play.
