Don't attack the land, fight the men on it

Fighting a battle is hard enough, without fighting against the land as well, chose when to fight and where, as terrain is the enemy as well in most battles but can also be your greatest ally.

So first study the terrain, then study the history, then play the battle from both sides, then and only then alter the difficulty and menu options to suit your taste.

Once you're happy with a battle, alter your plans and try it a different way, once every plan has been tried and mastered, then play online and see if it works against someone else.

After 200+ battles, i think i have finally mastered this one, then again tomorrow is another day, so another plan may spring to mind, and another different battle with play out, happy gaming and hope you have enjoyed your purchase.

while it looks simple, chose the wrong unit, on the wrong terrain, in the wrong order and formation and it all goes to pot and you loose big time, so practice, play, then read the manual, then practice again, again them some more and after a while it becomes second nature and so much fun, tbh never enjoyed testing and playing a game for so long and so much in my long life, so well done all involved, what a classic...

when you view the battle at the end, you don't just see how well you have done or not, but also get a idea on what the other side could have done or was trying to do, and you don't have to stop at the end time either, play on as your win in 20 mins or so later could easily be turned to a defeat with more time for the AI or your opponent...

Either way enjoy and hope you liked my little demo, it won't be the last, but was the first, is your better, post it and let others see how you play and if you become a sword brother in Brother Against Brother, The Drawing of the Sword in the true king of Civil war sims / games... imo[&o][&o][&o]
