Weather Sound Please Stop!

How do you turn off the random "rain" sound in the Williamsburg starter scenario. It's driving me freakin' nuts! I turned off the weather graphics, but I don't see an option to turn off weather sounds. They just randoms play and then stop, play and the stop.

there is a work around i just need permission to upload the info before i do, so please bear with us, it's easy and simple, reminds me of myself tbh[:D][;)]

Try this temporarily workaround:
Open the game installation folder, find a folder named Sound and open it.
Please find a file named snd027.wav and rename it as _snd027.wav.
As far as I could test it seems that this will stop the game from playing the rain.
IF you encounter any problem just rename it back to snd027.wav.

That worked. Thank You. Hopefully a future patch will include an option to turn off weather sounds through the the game.

Eric, does "snd" stand for "surprisingly noisy downpour"?

I can confirm the 1.02beta has fixed this. Weather sounds turn off with selecting no weather display option in game. Thank you.
