Quick question:
How can we translate in hexes these range tables?
Mississippi Rifle 187/93/31/31/31/0/0
or
10-pdr Parrot Rifle 449/150/124/112/100/87/78

I assumed each slash is one hex.
So 10 pdr does "78 worth of damage" at 7 hexes? It gives me a general idea, but not sure what the numbers actually represent.

Yes, correct, though those numbers are the base for calculations. So rather than paying attention to the specific numbers, it's best to use them to get a sense of relative damage at different ranges.

I'm not sure that every slash is the next hex, because there is the special ability "Bombarders" that says you have a bonus if you fire beyond 10 hexes.
What I'd like to know is the range of the weapons, i.e. first slash is hex range 0-1, second slash hex range 2-3, and so on.

Artillery with an elevation advantage get a longer range; I believe it's six hexes. I don't know how the stats are handled at the increased range. I would assume that 7 hexes is max range at level elevation.

It is one hex per item. We don't show all of the long range hexes for artillery simply because they wouldn't fit very well.

Ok, thanks for the clarification.
