starting game problems

When I start a scenario it exits back to the main game menu. At the bottom of the screen there are two game icons; when I click on one of the icons the scenario starts up.
Also, when playing a scenario, I get a slow moving screen and choppy movement.

Did you update the game to the latest version? What you're describing is a problem we were seeing on some systems before the patch. If you have updated, would you mind posting your DxDiag report so I can see whether there might be something system-specific involved?

How to get a DxDiag report file:

1. Click on "START" (on Windows 8 press “Windows key” and the “R” key at the same time)
2. Click "run" (skip this step on Windows 8)
3. Type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. Check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. Click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
6. Attach the file to your message

@821Bobo

You need to install a proper driver for your ATI 5800 graphic card.
You can download the driver from the site below:
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/d ... 7%20-%2064

You should also update your audio drivers. What's the brand and the model of your motherboard?
Have you installed any of the motherboard drivers, or have you just installed Windows and then updated it?

If you're getting crashes at very high resolutions (>2000 width), please try lowering the width to something like 1920 or 1900 and see whether that solves the issue. Very large resolution displays have caused an issue like this for at least one other customer.

Updating drivers did not help.
Regarding MB, I have ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3

It is only minor issue not affecting the game play at all. Maybe the next patch will help.

Anyway, you should have the motherboard drivers updated. You cna downloaded them from Asus site:
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M4A89G ... _Download/

Specially the sound driver... it might be useful for other games as well.
