I must be missing something but where do you click to get the bios of units/officers that have *'s?

For officers that have the BIO tag on their portraits you can right-click on the portrait to open the bio.

That does not seem to be working for me. I have tried both portraits both right and clicking.

That's unusual. Is anyone else having this problem with the commander biographies? Which commanders have you tried this with?

I am seeing it too.
This chap's bio does not appear. His commander does.

Which scenario is that? I'll see whether I can duplicate this.

Knowing the scenario would help. I suspect that this is an additional problem caused by something I did in the Williamsburg OOB files involving arrival times for reinforcements, which has been fixed in 1.03. So if anyone sees this AFTER installing 1.03 please report it. Otherwise, I'm going to assume that I fixed the missing bios problem just as inadvertently as I (may have) caused it!

Sorry I cannot recall which scenario I loaded.

Well this is strange. The scenario I loaded was the 1st Manassas standard scenario.
However now NO Bio's are appearing on right mouse click on any scenario
Playing with th 1.03 patch

Is anyone else using 1.03 seeing this issue (but was not having it in previous versions)?

Well this is even stranger. A reboot of my laptop (Win 8.1) and now the Bios are all appearing.

there some officers that the bio doesnt show up when I click on their pikture.

Aceous, just to be sure, these are guys who should have a bio, but it's not showing up?

Running latest 1.04b patch and bio's don't show.I was able to view Keye's bio in Williamsburg scen.once.
Just checked and it's only the Williamsburg scen.displaying this behavior.

Update now no bio's for any scen.

So how widespread is this problem? I can't tell if the lack of "Yeah, I'm seeing this too" posts means others aren't seeing it too, or simply have nothing to add regarding the matter.

i haven't as yet seen the issue tbh, but to be truthful don't really use the bio info so will look more closes today and get back and reply properly

Just an update from me.
The Bios seem to work fine for a while then they just stop popping up. If I restart the game that fixes it for a bit.
Any scenario, doesn't seem to be related to a particular one.
Windows 8.1, 8 Gig RAM i5 laptop.

I'm playing the Mill Springs Standard Scenario (PBEM game) as CSA and the BIOs don't work.

select the commander you want to view, then once it's been highlighted, right click on the bio you wish to have shown, on some zoom levels for some reason it doesn't always work, but by altering the zoom level which makes you right click more accurate it does, well it has for me, and i've checked all battles, but not all missions etc as yet but so far only found one to be missing, which will be fixed asap.

if you can check it will help, as i don't think it's a bio issue, just a right click zoom one imo, but then again could be wrong, it wont be the first or last time either tbh[;)]

please check and let us know, as i can't reproduce the error at all, but have noticed on max zoom on and max zoom in it's harder to select and show, but a slight zoom either way fixes it for me at least...
