Windows 7 Compatability?

Greetings,

I haven't been active on this forum for 5 years. Last I knew TOAW was only playable on Windows XP.

However, I no longer own a computer with Windows XP. My computer today uses Windows 7.

Is there a way to play TOAW on my (64-bit) Windows 7 computer?

Run it on Windows 7 64 bit machine all the time. However, not every PC is the same.

Yep - mine runs fine "straight out of the box" as it were.

I never had any issue with Win7 64 bit.

I'm guessing that my version of the game is out of date.

The version I have is Opart 3 3,2,29,27 dated 8 Sept 2007. I'm thinking that this is the source of my difficulties.

How do I go about accessing the latest version, and will my 5-years-old TOAW activation code still work?

Thank you, Meyer1.

The game now works on my Windows 7 computer.

There used to be some codes that worked on the directory path line of the shortcut properties.

Specifically, I used to use nodelay to speed up the game. I tried nodelay on my new shortcut properties but it does not seem to work. Is there another code that works like the old nodelay used to work?

You need to change it in the Opart.ini.
