I have the game installed from a couple of years ago. I decided to have a play today (it was working fine last time I played) but now it says that the serial number is wrong. The serial number is registered and was correct before. I emailed support but they say that since I bought it many years ago (about 5 or 6 years I reckon) they can't help.

What can I do? I know my serial number, so can I put it into a file somewhere to get the game working again?

Why don't you try making a new install, if the serial is the right you shouldn't have any problems, then update to the latest patch. I had Conflict of Heroes on my hard drive for a long time without playing it and when I decided to give another try the game somehow was corrupted, applying the latest patch fixed the issue, so try a new install of A World Divided it may work as silly as it may sound.

Thanks. I thought about that too, so I asked if they could send me a new download link for a new install or if there's some way to update the serial number, but they say that because it's such an old game, they can't give me a download link. So I need to know how to get the link or how to update the serial number. Not sure who to ask since customer support don't seem to know.

We can provide new download links, we find the order. For that we usually need toe order reference number or the email address you have used to place the order.
