One comment and 2 questions Turn-2.
AGN !!! What's going on ??? Pskov turn 2 ??? I like how you opened up a corridor to have a ton of infantry cross southern Daugava on Turn 2. Few do it.
AGC Why push so many armored/mech units close to the Dnepr south of the Smolensk landbridge to convert hexes ?? You limit turn 3 MP's and expose them to a whipping.
AGS Do you rail 2-3 Pz div south to Romania on turn 2 ??? Do you send AGC and AGS FBD units to Romania to help repair rail ???

I have posted my opening more then once on the forms, I done this 44 times to date

They like being spanked
= yes to flip hexes. Pockets are formed after turn 1 because of infantry not just panzers
AGS Do you rail 2-3 Pz div south to Romania on turn 2 ???
Do you send AGC and AGS FBD units to Romania to help repair rail ???
I only have 1 FBD coming out of Romania, it DOESNOT go to Odessa-the shortest rail line to D-Town.
As far as panzers railed to Romania yes I rail them down, they are to far back to have an impact anyways following up so I railem to Romania

rkimmi will resign or disappear before the end of the summer campaign. You heard it here first.

I don't think so he is good, we at turn 6 and I am not across the southern rivers.
Its a fun game as he is taking a different approach to defending.
and you were wrong as is normal about smokendave that one will go the distance.
anything else you like to say that will be proven wrong by the data?

I don't know what to make of Dave's game. A case could be made you could have finished him off by working your panzerball east of Saratov. You just decided to go defensive? I guess that's your normal play as you start counting the miles to Berlin vs. remaining turns. At least you remain predictable.

I screwed up.
I should have taken the 2 citys Northwest of Moscow and I would have won, but I kinda like the idea of seeing how things go over the long run.
I need the exp now that WitE works past 43 as designed.
morveal and friends have done an amazing job, with fixes and options.

AGN panzers push forward, but will have to wait for the infantry to arrive before major operations start.

AGN a solid line to east looks to block the right hook.

AGC a solid wall of 10+ CV units behind the southern river, but not much at land bridge, so panzers push towards Moscow

AGS faces heavy resistance alone the river and pushing towards D/Z-Town, Odessa is high CV. Not sure why in game after game Russian players waste any unit defending it?

Turn 5 GHC Armaments: 95,000 Manpower: 21,000 VP: 158
HQBUs used:
Armament Pts Destroyed =4
Heavy Industry Destroyed = 4
Manpower Pts over run during 1942 =

AGN begins the right hook. SHC simply has to many men in the South and there is nothing below Lake Ilmen. This is early for the right hook, but as can be seen in the screen shots SHC has 98% of its forses North of Ilmen and south of Smolensk.

AGC simply takes what it is given and heads for Moscow and the Marsh is almost cut off.

AGS does its best to push east vs the mass of Russian units, 13 divisions are pocketed.

Turn 6 GHC Armaments: 102,000 Manpower: 21,000 VP: 169
HQBUs used: 1
Armament Pts Destroyed =4
Heavy Industry Destroyed = 16
Manpower Pts over run during 1942 =
Russian Units Destroyed after November 1st 1941
Corp:
Divisions:
Brigades:
SU:
AP total:
Stavka OOB: 4,084,000
Over all OKH sees no chance at getting an industrial KO, so pocketing operations will begin asap.
AGN moves up the infantry, crosses the river in force and 3 HQBUs are done. The railhead is only 15 hexes from the front line HQs.

Stavka pulls back 60 miles at the land bridge and south of land bridge, AGC is making better then expected progress and the infantry are not at the front yet. The railhead is only 15 hexes from the front lines HQs.
