I just installed 1.0029. The installation, however, seems to have removed the game exe!

I have an EXE called "autorun", which does activate the GAME MENU. If I press "Play the Game" button, nothing happens. No error message.

In the game folder there is no longer an exe entitled "Gary Grigsby's War in the West", just the "autorun" file

Tried to re-update, says I already have latest version

Any ideas what the problem is?

Very odd, although I had some issues with installer myself. Can you run exe manually or it is got deleted?

It was deleted. Can't start it manually. It' ain't there.

This actually happened when I installed the BETA. At the time, I just re-installed the official version 1.0021, and that worked. I always ran the exe manually anyway, without using the game menu

Can't figure out the problem

I think some of beta installers might have a problem.
