Lets talk about where the competent action will happen. What new and improved features for MP games over the civil war engine?

How will the command and control work with COOP players. Will C-in-C have unique abilities to control his corps human commanders?

Looks great!!!

Glad you like it!

What type of controls do you mean? Other than mind control you won't have any control over human controlled troops [:)] We do have a courier system for sending messages back and forth to human players for maximum realism. The couriers can get killed, orders won't get through - is that what you mean?

:)
Was hoping for something that helped ARMY commanders coordinate their corps and follow orders lol
Any possibility of removing elements from one commander and assigning troops to another? OR having the ARMY command say release strategic forces to a particular corp. Say Guard units for example? Can one send a courier with a map attached on it to show where elements are to move or place comments?

If you'll bear with my ignorance for a moment - how is the MP is CW series? I only play the PBEM++ stuff (like Battle Academy and OOB Pacific), which is great. Even Combat Mission I've never played with an opponent live and online.

Does this game introduce new and improved MP features not found in Scourge CW? Thanks!

MP in the SOW series is gobsmackingly good.

If you are able to get a group of regular players together (this can take time but well worth it) then the game really does move to a higher level of play. There are also plenty of mods out there and checkout sowmp.com for one of the best.

As an aside, if any Australians would like to try Waterloo multiplayer please send me a message, we have a small group of players who get together occasionally for SOW battles in the evenings - great fun.
