How do I move air transport groups from Africa to the UK in preparation of Dday?

just fly them over to England. If you have not used them before, airunits can transfer once with unlimited range. so go to air transfer, pick an airfield in England and done.

Just transfer them direct using F10 mode as one of your very first tasks in the air planning phase.

An other question about transfering air units.
When I transfer squadron to sicily captured airfields, they appear with *. I would like to attach the airbase to malta air command for exemple, but I have only one choice to transfert to Meditteranean Air HQ....

Somebody know how to deal with that ?

When you bring up the airbase page can you not click on the HQ? That's where the change is made and you can assign air HQ's over long distances.

Or, are you saying that when you do try to change air HQ this way that the only HQ that shows is Med Allied Air HQ? That would be a bug.

To avoid my question, selectable items should appear in a specific color.
