Did I open Pandora's box? BTS BillBrown(A) vs Vicberg(J)

This is a BTS game between myself and Vicberg.

Our house rules are:
1st Turn

Allied Play to command TFs at Sea. No new TFS

No Transferring or loading squadrons

Max 30% CAP per squadron

JP TFs no more than 15 away from Japanese controlled hex (no Mersing gambit first turn)

Game Rules

No 4E nav bombing below 10k (game engine doesn’t handle it correctly)

Sensible use of paratroopers (no fragmenting beyond belief)

Pay Full PP to cross borders…also means I can’t spend 70 PP to transfer a HQ and get all the units assigned to it for free. Each unit must be paid for individually. HQs may be taken after all others transferred.

No Strat Bombing into or out of China

We have played 6 turns so far and as expected, there are no highlights for the Allies.

Vicberg did not attack Pearl Harbor, but instead sent all of his CV/CVL/and CVEs to the
PI and DEI. My ships losses have been extreme, but many ships lost are xAK and xAKLs
which are not terribly important. I have lost 96 ships so far. 28 of them are xAKL.
11 are xAKs. Force Z was hit hard and on the 6th day Repulse sand. PoW is still barely
afloat, and will probably sink in the next turn or two.

When I saw all of his CVs in the PI and DEI area, I sent all of the ships bases in the DEI
to Perth, Colombo, or Cape Town. I did not try to load any of them, just set sail.
I think an unloaded ship at a friendly port is worth more than a loaded ship that has been sunk.

The only good part is that my air units at Pearl Harbor did not suffer any losses. A nd I will
have lots of old, slow BBs to do Naval Bombardments.

He did land at Mersing on turn 2 so I will probably loose Malaya quickly.

Palambang was invaded on turn 3 and captured turn 4. It looks like the damage was minor( 95 oil, 78 refinery)

Little to report, lost a few more ships that were fleeing the PI or DEI. These were previously damaged and could only move 1 hex at a time.

It looks like he still has all of the KB units in the PI/DEI region.

The garrison requirements for India are out of line. I do not have enough troops to garrison all of the India Cities.
China is similar, I have the troops there, but then most of my troops are stuck in cities.

This scenario starts with the US economy mostly at 50% damaged. It is going to take quite some time before I have much extra supply or fuel
for operations. I have just enough surplus to allow some build up in the South Pacific, but not major operations for 6-9 months at least.

2 small ARDs, 3 xAKs, and a small xAP sunk south of Java. I may get most of the rest out of harms way.
So far I have lost 119 ships for 947 points. Looking at the sunk ship list, there are a lot of 1 and 2 point
ships that have been sunk. Just about all of the small ships that start in the PI. I lost about 24 ships
on the first day of the war.

Only one xAKL sank today, lost Hong Kong and two MLs were destroyed while building.

Then a small boost in morale

Only one torp hit, and probably not much damage, but maybe it will have to go in for repairs.

I got a report that DD Mutsuki sank from a collision.

My first day with no ships sunk.

No other important news either.
