Anachronistic Russian city names

I've noticed several Russian cities have anachronistic Soviet-era names. I'll check it out further, but here are several that jumped out at me.
Dnepropetrovsk was Ekaterinoslav prior to 1926.
Ul'yanovsk was Simbirsk prior to 1924.
Gorky was Nizhny Novgorod prior to 1932 (restored to original name in 1990).
Krasnodar was Ekaterinodar prior to 1920.

The game uses a slightly different transliteration of the Russian alphabet than I'm used to. For consistency's sake, you might want to make it YEKATERINOSLAV, NIZHNI NOVGOROD, and YEKATERINODAR.
A couple more:
KUYBYSHEV was SAMARA prior to 1935 (and is again since 1991).
KUTLAS should be KOTLAS (nothing political...just a spelling error).

A few more:
The modern-day Estonian capital of TALLINN was called REVAL prior to Estonia's post-WWI independence.
The modern-day Moldovan capital of CHISINAU was called KISHINEV before it came under Romanian control post-WWI.
Not 100% certain, but I believe the Finnish capital of HELSINKI was still generally called by its Swedish name of HELSINGFORS prior to Finnish independence.

Also, VINNYTSIA is the current Ukrainian spelling of VINNITSA (like how some now use "Kyiv" in place of "Kiev").
Nothing to do with spelling, but ROSTOV was the main industrial center of southern Russia at the time and a much more prominent city than YEKATERINODAR, YEKATERINOSLAV, or TSARITSYN (which I suspect was given prominence by the developers because it was the future Stalingrad).
