Is there a tutorial on how to make Landscape Types...or modify current ones. I want to design more than one
type of winter landscape so I can have different winter effects (having the same effect from middle of Italy
to the top of Norway does not seem to be correct. And it would be nice to implement a storm that affects only
a given area.

I am afraid I cannot help you much. I never really grasped that part of the editor. I think some people on here may have, if not Vic should have.

What exactly is it you are struggling with... in the editor?

I can see how to import new terrain from files but not how to design new terrain or modify existing terrain. What parameters, resolution, etcs., are needed to make the terrain viable and importable for the game.

Just using the same terrain and renaming it to have different winter effects is not a solution. As when you look at the map you will not be able to tell where the weather effects are worse/better. But I can see no way to modify the terrain.
