Hull Numbers

Just curious, but is it possible to add the ship hull numbers using the editor so that it would also be shown in the ship display screen, such as USS Ward (DD-139)?

Some ship names use the entire field, so there isn't any free space to add anymore, but you could edit the rest of the ship names to add hull numbers if you wanted to. The name field can be anything you want it to be as long as the string isn't too long.

I didn't think about that, I was thinking more of an unused field. Besides, it would only work as long as you didn't convert the ship to another class. Oh well, it's not a game breaker by any means. It's just something that popped into my head while watching a combat replay and I had an old war movie on the TV.

el sid again's RHS mod has hull numbers on many ships. BB's, CA's etc. But not all....GP
