Just played a turn with the new beta and I won this battle (its a PBEM game):




as you can see I ended up with 1.6:1 odds but the German unit still routed. It was isolated and I'd hope low on supply etc.

It could be that unit got depleted due to the losses and therefore routed out the hex. It is possible to check it if you upload a save and battle result can be repeated.
