I wanted to try an army battle with the courier system. Problem is, the courier system does not activate when you're an army commander.

When I set it on "brigade and above", it works correctly at every level (brigade, division, corps) except army. When you are Napoleon or Wellington, orders are carried immediately without courier. I tried setting the option to "army" but it didn't work either.

This was with custom difficulty setting. I tried with preset difficulty levels : same thing, it works as expected for every level and rank, except when you're supposed to have the courier system at army level.

It is strange, I tried and I saw the courier starts from army and side level too; can you attach a save of a match where this happen to you?

This is with "brigade and above" selected. I can give direct order to every unit in the field with Napoleon.

Note that I play on win 8.1 with win 7 compatibility.

Is it a scenario battle? The scenario 4?

Scenario, yes. Not number 4. Number 10 and also happens with number 20, the only two army scenarios.

Just tried a sandbox game, army vs army, controlling Napoleon. Courier system worked as expected. Problem only scenarios-related.

Thank you very much, i'll signal it to the scenarios' authors probably something in the settings file of two scenarios.
