hey guys, i've changed the resolution in the settings and now, when i start the game, the in-game windows are out of my screen. Can i manually set the resolution back with editing a text file or so? Idk why, but reinstalling the game from steam didn't helped for me.
thanks

Edit: I'm still able to start the tutorial (luckily it's still in my screen) and there i can't see any bugs or so. It's just the menue. Sadly here I can choose what i want to play so yeah it's just the menue

Please try the following:
Rename the folder named Distant Worlds Universe as Distant Worlds Universe_OLD in the Windows documents folder at:

....\Documents\My Games

Yeah, there isn't the Folder you mentioned. Just the Folder of another Game..

Do patch your game, and the folder will be there.

You should find it in C:\Users\marcel_\AppData\Roaming\Code Force Limited\Distant Worlds

I believe AppData is hidden by default.

If you have no save game that you will miss, it is easier to just patch and go from the new file location. Press the updates box in the lower left or follow link in: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3862291
