Flyout toggle?

"Well, I'm back, he said..." [:)]

Been away far too long, but am back to World in Flames.
Still a new-comer to this beautiful and awesomely massive game!

Simple question: I can't seem to find the Flyout toggle,
which allows the cursor over a hex to reveal larger
counters therein.

Or has this feature been changed or removed from the game?
I see it nicely in the "World in Flames 7 Wow Moments,"
screenshots, but can't replicate this feature in my game.

Thank you!

double click an empty hex, then mouse over the hex with the units you want to view

roeddog is correct but it is usually best when you are checking a land hex for land units. If there are a lot of naval units in a hex it is better to double click a sea hex and hover over the port or sea area. Also remember to double click a land hex to make the flyout feature go away when you are finished using it.

Your welcome Caesar, also if you use control and "H" you will get the unit hex viewer, a small oblong panel that shows all the units as you move the cursor over each hex, you can also lock the units in the viewer by hitting the space bar.

Thanks, bo, yes, I knew about the Ctrl+H Hex viewer. At first, I thought this had replaced the Flyout view. Both features are very useful. [;)]

Very useful Caesar, the viewer can be stretched across the screen so it is able to get a large port with many naval units in it into the viewer, of course rkr knew that. [:(]

Bo, I did know you could stretch forms. But didn't know (or forgot) about the Ctrl+H form. I'm now in hog heaven with this form, especially when viewing large naval forces in a sea area. For that, I'm liking it better than the NRD form. Thanks again! [:)]
