I have loaded the game up from disc and taken it down twice because I thought I put in patch 1.07 . What happens after patch is dropped in folder is the first screen
play, manual check for updates screen comes up but when I press play game never opens . I want the patch of course because several scenarios are locking up.

could you walk me through loading patch . Its on my laptop where do I drop the patch in the command folder? and then do I extract it? help please!

Is it Steam or direct from Matrix?

If it's 1.07 update the easiest thing to do is use update option on splashscreen .This will auto update. If you want1.08 then go to 1.08 thread and use link. Simply copy downloaded file into command folder, overwriting any folders. If you have Norton when first run you have to allow program to run.

what happened with auto update is when it is trying to create handle it says there is an error and can't download

I never use the auto updater...I always download the standalone and update with that.

Bill we can give you instructions but they differ based on where you bought it. Did you buy through steam or matrix?
