Does anyone know if it would be possible to use the current Stock AE engine to create a "War Plan Orange" scenario for the 1920s? In other words, if I change the start date in the editor from Dec 1, 1941 to, say, Dec 1, 1924, will the game still work or would there be any glitches?

Never mind, just did a test and it appears a War Plan Orange style scenario is impossible.

You could do a War Plan Orange in the timeframe of the game. Start say Jan 1, 1942 and say it's 1920.

I agree with Bill. You will have to do a lot of work in the
editor must sometimes that's more fun than playing the game.

I think doing War Plan Orange would probably require an almost completely new database. Just about everything is different.

Not something I plan on doing but probably a lot could be copy and pasted from WPO's spreadsheet. Of course there are some new fields in AE but copy and pasting would save a lot of effort.
