Beta testing for TOAW never stopped. The version numbers increased and the Beta team kept going so, yes there's plenty of
beta testing going on. You may want to send Tamak a follow up email to see what happened to your application. Maybe he's
just very busy right now.

I'm in the dark on beta testing also. I submitted my application a couple months ago and never heard back.

Maybe it was granted and you were never informed. I'd query Tamas if I were you Curt dude.
Did you get to the NDA stage even?

What is the NDA stage?

What is the NDA stage?
Oh. That answers my question I guess. What happened in my case was I got an email from Eric ( many years ago ) saying
he had attached a file that I was supposed to print out and sign and mail back to him. Now-a-days the NDA is
electronic I've heard. You may be given a link to click on that verifies that you are who your email says you are and
by clicking on the link you are agreeing to the NDA agreement. Or something like that, I've never done it, I donno. I'm just
relating what I've heard. After that there's another email from somebody high up saying yes you're in or sorry dude we used
somebody else. You may want to inquire of Tamas K. and see what your status is Curt dude.

Is there still a need for beta testers? I tried applying a number of times but it keeps telling me my sign-information is incorrect. Which is kind of weird, since I am signed in right now. Does it have something to do with having a forum name that is different than my uber-identity for use across Matrix, Slitherine and others? I would really like to help.

Of course. Plenty to do between now and then.

I believe you. We need the helpers. It's a win-win.

I also sent him a email and haven't heard back, at least, he could answer that no more beta testers are needed.

And wants no scenarios, either.

Josant, USXpat, I will vouch for you guys on the secret forum :). At some point, when things get more stable I can also load up your scenario on the new engine and see if something crazy happens. If you PM me we could also suggest engine changes (although I suspect that it would be a) for a future patch and b) limited to simple things like changing game parameters with an event.

USXpat: were you happy with tank losses in your 42-45 scenario?

Do I understand this correctly? They want scenarios for this new TOAW yet they give the scenario designers no way to test the scenario for TOAW4 nor can these scenarios be designed on TOAW4?

This is obviously just my opinion, but I think the development team is just resource/time limited in their ability to keep up with players feedback/requests/suggestions/awesome offers... that's all.

Thank you for offering, Fabio, but I'm taking a pass now on trying to get these ready for TOAW IV's release.

Was pretty happy with TR 42-45 casualty rates, forget what the attrition divider was, probably 8.

Bob had once said that in the 3.5 patch some artillery was going to have to have dedicated towing to be moved. Did this make it through to TOAW4? If so this would be a great change in how the game handles this aspect of unit mobility.

?? I'm sure I never said that about 3.5. I may have said something about such a hypothetical feature, though.
