Strange bug when launching the game :c

Hi guys, as i stated in the title of the thread, i got a really weird bug, when i click on the "PLAY DISTANT WORLDS" button in the laucher, then nothing happens, i can heard my cpu "loading" it:
the fan accelerate, i see the lights of the processor move up telling me its loading something big(a game for example)
,but then anything happens, and i tried everything, i reinstalled twice the game, i tried using the game shortcut,the one in the main folder,i dont know what changed in my game, it was working fine until last week, then i stoped playing (for RL reasons) then when i tried again yesterday, this happened, i really dont know what else do..
Help me please :C!!!!

Maybe try a system restore? Can you remember what else you have done with the computer since it worked?
Do other games work just fine?

Are you running any mods? I once had installed a mod that probably got downloaded corrupted and when I changed the theme to it the game crashed and when I tried to run it nothing happend. To fix this I just deleted the mod.

other games work perfectly (napoleon total war, europa universalis 4, LoL, xenonauts, etc) , i tried going back to an ealier restoration point(someone from april or something like that but the game was installed one month ago IIRC), so im kind of stranded here, the issue is that the game doesnt drop me some error log or something, is just like it doesnt START, even if it appears it do the effort for it, but the process doesnt appear in the manager neither.....
im using 1.9.12 version(i think >_<), im not sure what else could be change because i dont touched my PC for a week or so...

Check the contents of the save-ish folder. "Documents-MyGames-DistantWorldsUniverse" or thereabouts. In the root is any crash report and some preferences files. Check for a crash log and give content here if there is any. Then delete a small config file or two that would "forget" about any selected mod and launch default game.
If this does not help, I would uninstall/reinstall distant worlds.
Also, did you mess with mods, and maybe overwrite some game files in the process? If so, reinstall for sure to restore default files.
