Difficulty Level

Could you give a better explanation of what the Difficulty Level selection affect?
What is their effect on player vs player games?
In player vs computer games how do the different selections from Corporal to Full General affect the game play?
Does the AI get bonuses to fire, morale, etc rather than just plays better?

I'll have to review the code later to give a thorough answer. There is no effect on multiplayer games (there was one effect in V1.0, but we changed that with a patch.) Difficulty generally gives the AI little material bonuses: better chances to pass morale checks, small bonuses to movement, to pass command and control checks, little bonuses to combat rolls, and lower morale losses. Generally speaking each level of difficulty modifies things only by about 5%-10%.
